Day 1

Glenkinchie, Culross village & Deanston

This morning we head out of the capital to visit Glenkinchie - the Edinburgh Malt. This is a must-do journey through Glenkinchie’s rich heritage and includes a tutored whisky tasting of 3 drams and a wee cocktail in the Tasting Room – a delicious start to a wonderful whisky adventure. Next, we tour to Culross; a traditional village with pan-tile roofs and fine 17th century architecture that featured in the ‘Outlander’ series. End the day with a visit to Deanston Distillery near Stirling. Overnight Stirling.

Day 2

Glengoyne, Tullibardine & Lindores

We head for Glengoyne Distillery, often described as Scotland's most beautiful distillery, that sits on the edge of the Highland/Lowland line. Enjoy an informative tour and tasting here. The onward journey passes through stunning scenery to the bustling town of Callander situated on the River Teith. We visit the shop at Tullibardine Distillery that produces wonderful artisanal whisky and spend the afternoon at beautiful Lindores Abbey Distillery, where distilling has taken place on this site since at least 1494. We recommend a 3-flight tasting here. Overnight Perth.

Day 3

St Andrews, Kingsbarns & Fife

Explore the ancient and historic town of St. Andrews consisting of narrow alleys and cobbled streets. The University of St. Andrews, founded in 1410, dominates the centre of town and afterwards, you’ll not want to miss a tour and tasting at nearby Kingsbarns Distillery – it’s a great place for a light lunch too. Visit the exhibition space, go on a guided tour of the distillery, and then head to the tasting rooms to sample Kingsbarns single malts including the award-winning ‘Dream to Dram’. We now make our way back to Edinburgh via the village of South Queensferry.
